As designers there is some point in time we will have to jump onto the internet to search for image references. We type in our search query, hit enter and click on the images tab. Voila, there is your images library of references. Digging deeper there is much more to Google’s image search engine capabilities and I’ll run you though what I know.

Word has it that it has begun… Google has change their search engine algorithm and it started today, right now. Google will be prioritising companies which are mobile-friendly and could trigger a mobilegeddon frantic. To put it in layman’s terms, if your searching on a smart phone or a tablet, websites which are mobile ready will be listed higher on searches and those which are not will go down in the pecking order. With a growing number of mobile users the search engine giant is gearing up to cover these grounds to ensure you get the best user experience and most relevant information.

Today I’m ecstatic with the news that my Little Teo character design has made his way to the LINE app. You can now chat with more fun and excitement using his stickers to express your emotions. OK “more fun and excitement” is a bit of an over hype and I admit it’s a marketing plot to get you guys to buy my stickers. To add to my selling point, Little Teo is probably only a few great looking 3D style art in comparison to the overloaded, yet awesome flat style character stickers available on the LINE store. Bias aside, you also still do get a lot of fun and excitement using LINE’s generic free stickers.

So here it is, my first post on Design Sync. Before I jump into rumbling about the goodies in design, I’ll make mention that since design is a subjective matter, what I say can be judgmental.
