How to use the 3D Cursor in Blender 2.9?

The 3D Cursor in Blender is a very useful tool. It might be very confusing to 3D artist coming from a different platform like myself. However once you grasper and begin to understand the function of this 3D Cursor it makes your 3D workflow so much easier and faster.

What does the 3D Cursor do?
The 3D Cursor tool (a circle cursor with red and white dots) allows the artist to pin point an area in 3D space. It defines the position when you add objects or can snap objects to that point.

How to get started with the 3D Cursor?
1. Press Shift S to bring up the Cursor Pie Menu.
2. You have a number of options to set where your 3D Cursor to be, I often use Cursor to Selected which then position the 3D Cursor to the Origin of the Object.
3. Then select your second object and then Shift S again and then select Selection to Cursor from the Pie Menu. This directly puts your selected object to the 3D Cursor location. If you created new objects the new object will be place in this position.
