How to frame selection in Blender 2.8?

Blender 2.8 General – Focus Selected

When zoom pan and move around in the viewport, sometimes you can lose your direction. To refocus on your object follow the simple steps below. This can also work in the outliner, UV editor, shader editor and more.

1. Select your object from the viewport or outliner.

2. Press the . from the Numpad area. This will move the camera directly to focus in on your object.
(Maya users: This is the same as the F key which is to frame your selection.)
