How to match a photo environment in Blender 2.8
The quickest and easiest way to match your camera to a photo.
The best way to match your camera to a photo environment is to use fSpy by Stuffmatic. It’s an open source still image camera matching app, meaning it’s free for you to download and use. Together with Blender 2.8 add-on, it make the process very easy. This is a great tool for environment modellers, interior designers, and architects.
1. Download the fSpy app from GitHub.

(Note: Installing the Blender add-on does not require you to unzip that folder.)
2. Launch the fSpy app and drag your environment image into fSpy.
3. On the left panel, Vanishing Point Axis for 1 change this to X or Y direction. 2 change this to Z
4. Move and align the blue circle to a vertical reference point and the red circle to a horizontal reference point.
5. Save the file.
6. Launch Blender 2.8 and go to File > Import > fSpy.
7. Import the file you had saved in fSpy, once loaded you will see your scene in the viewport with the camera setup to match the image.
