How to setup a turntable animation in Blender 2.8

Blender 2.8 Animation – 360 Turntable Loop

1. Create an Empty (null) by pressing Shift A and select Plain Axes.

2. Select all objects and then select Empty as your last selection. (If you use box select, deselect empty and reselect it again. Selecting the Empty last will make the empty the parent and the object the child.)

3. Press Ctrl P to Parent object to Empty and select Object (Keep Transformation).

4. Press N to bring up the transform panel. (If you can not see the transform information click on the Item tab on the side.

5. Go the Rotate Z field and right mouse click and select Insert Single Keyframe.

6. On the timeline, select frame 125 (or the middle frame of your animation).

7. Go back to the transform panel and change Rotate Z to 180 degrees.

8. Move back to the timeline and press I or right mouse click and select Insert Keyframe.

10. Slide the time to frame 250 (or the last frame of your animation).

9. Go back to the transform panel and change Rotate Z to 360 degrees.

10. Move back to the timeline and press I or right mouse click and select Insert Keyframe.

11. Click on the Play button to preview your turntable animation.
