Statistics display information
Where to find polygon faces, edges, vertices and triangle count in Blender 2.9 ?
One of the new feature in Blender 2.9 is the ability to display statistic information of your object. A display that sits on the top left side of the viewport or at the bottom right.
Display statistic information as overlay in the viewport:
1. Click on the Arrow button next to the Overlay icon.
2. From the drop down select Statistics.
3. You will notice an overlay statistic information appear on the top right side of the viewport showing objects numbers, vertices, edges, faces and triangles. (Note: The statistics display information does not carry to the other work space window, eg. sculpting, UV Editing, Shading etc.)
Display Scene Statistic information in the Status Bar:
1. Go to Edit > Preference.
2. From the Preference popup menu, within the Interface tab, open up Status Bar and check Scene Statistics. You will now see the statistics numbers. This is displayed across the different workspace setup.
