Add or reduce subdivision on object once you add an object to your scene

Where is the add reduce subdivision once you add a default UV sphere, ico sphere, cylinder, cone, torus in Blender 2.9?

Using Metaballs to create interesting shapes and forms

Metaballs has been in Blender for a while and can be good use to create cell like models, strange organic shapes or forms. It’s an interesting way to model because of the fluidly like shape connection it has when it is pulled apart between two or more Metaball objects. It’s simple and easy to use and makes it a great base model to refine mode with sculpting. I recently used it to create some dense liquid drips. No need to do any simulation, I was just simply repeating the steps as I have outline below.

Render region from a scene

How to render a section in Blender 2.9?

1. From the camera view, hold down CTRL and then press B (you will notice a dotted target line).2. To start your render region, Left click and drag and then let go of the left mouse button to end the point. You will notice a red dotted line, this is the area Blender will render your scene.3. Go to Render > Render Image on the top panel or press F12 to render your selected region.

Lock camera position

Camera position lock in Blender 2.9?

You have set up your camera but always accidently move it. One way is to lock it. Unfortunately you can disable your camera in the outliner. The position of the camera can still move around if your in the camera view.

1. Select your viewing camera and press N to bring up the side panel.2. Click on the Item tab you see the Location, Rotation and Scale field. Next to these parameters you click on the Open Lock icon, this will switch to a Locked icon, hence locking your camera Location, Rotation and Scale.
