How to use Hard Ops and Boxcutter in Blender 2.8

by Design SyncMarch 16, 2019

Just purchase Hard Ops and Boxcutter Ultimate Bundle by Masterxeon1001 for Blender 2.8. Here are some of my notes while I’m learning this addon. Hopefully, you can find it useful too.

Boxcutter:

Object model will add Boolean to the modifiers which will be non-destructive. When in edit mode the cut and slices becomes destructive.

Activate Box Cutter: Alt W or select the Box Cutter icon from the left tool bar.

Bevel: B

Switch between Slice or Cut: X

Array: V (Use the middle mouse scroll to add more arrays)

Flip Array: F

Laser Cut: Draw and then click the same position.

Copy Cut to repeat onto other surface area: Create your cut then hold down Ctrl and Left Click
