How cancel rendering in Blender 2.9?

You started rendering in Blender and suddenly change your mind and really need to stop the process immediately. Click on the top right X icon on the rendering window or X at the bottom of the Blender interface (Not the rendering window) there is a rendering process count with an X. Click on that button and that will cancel your rendering. This will take a few second to process and then your done. A straight forward process that works for rendering images or animation, it’s really as simple as that.
